I won't say what the app is going to be until it gets close to being released, but I will say that there currently isn't an app in the app catalog under this category. At least for the Veer app catalog. :-P

Well. I fixed the app, but I will be releasing it without the game types initially. It may be added in an update. However, only time will tell. Maybe after I learn Javascript in the Spring 2012. :-P

Almost done! It blew me away when I realized just how much work was going to be put into this app. Making it with Ares, I am forced to make every individual scene and place every individual button and link every button to every scene. I didn't think I was ever going to finish it, but I am almost done. Then I just have to double-check everything before submitting it to the HP WebOS App Catalog. The app will be sold at an introductory price of 25 cents for the first day only, and $1 at normal price after the first day. Depending on how well the app does, I may give out some promotion codes in the future. I hope you guys enjoy the app!

Well. I was almost done with it. The Ares dev tool seems to have prevented me from using any more buttons. I am trying to find a way to work around it by grouping more information on the same pages. It will be a few more weeks most likely. Been really busy with work and college classes. Learning computer programming so I can make better apps and not be limited by the Ares development environment. :)

Path A Blog

I decided to build an app for anyone who wants to follow the blog here on the site. It took me a few hours to build and I will submit it into the app catalog soon. The blog will contain any information on upcoming apps, sneak previews of new apps, and any changes regarding development.

Wow! I was so surprised by how well-received my first app was. An updated version is coming soon and will be sold at an introductory price of 25 cents. The updated version will be called Black Ops Unlocked and include many new features such as:

Prestige Information, Level 1-50 unlocks, Weapon info, Maps info, and some other things.

Expect the app to be finished within a few weeks...

9-5-11 UPDATE1: Been super busy working on the app. It has a lot more to it than I initially thought. I've constantly been tweaking it to give it a better user experience. It's coming along nicely. Looking forward to the reviews. Stay cool!

SNEAK PREVIEW

The first app developed by Path A is going to be an app that simply displays the Call of Duty Black Ops prestige emblems.

I am a gamer myself and play Black Ops. I have looked up the prestige emblems multiple times, but can't remember them all. I like to know what prestige some people are in order to assess their skill level. Having an app for that would be much easier than having to look up the emblems each time.

*UPDATE* App submitted to App Catalog. Awaiting review for approval.

*UPDATE2* App available for download now! Currently working on adding functionality to list the unlocks for each prestige upon tapping the emblems.

Path A Development is a new company created by Dustin Patthey in order to publish applications on WebOS. Currently plans are in effect to later publish apps on other platforms such as Android and iOS, but for now Path A Development's focus will be on WebOS.

First, let me introduce myself:

My name is Dustin Patthey. I am currently attending college in order to achieve an Associate in Science degree for Computer Programming & Analysis. I plan to use my knowledge to build applications across a variety of platforms, but my inspiration spawned from my love of HP WebOS. Hopefully, you will notice an increase of quality in my apps as I learn more throughout my college education and from learning other development techniques through other apps, developers, or web resources. I am looking forward to creating quality apps for quality consumers and am looking forward to your feedback!
